We are all allowed freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and freedom of opinion, as long as we say, think, and believe exactly what we are told... and if gay sex kills people and destroys children, we must not admit it.
Thank you Moira. Your words are true. I poured her favourite tipple and listened to the tale of an old lady who had her say - and suffered the outrageous slings and arrows.

All around in what was Hilary's Village (thank goodness she has departed, stage left) we are assailed by the bad, the ugly and even the 'do-gooders' who are determined to make heroes of those who deserve no applause, no raised glasses. And it takes ordinary folk to stand up and be counted, speak out and object.

People like Sally. An elderly lady for whom many a glass was raised in the Tavern today.

We are reaching the point where Hollywood, in its efforts to make the sick, lame and lazy into the new victim-hero, will soon be featuring the Orc General as a poor creature maligned by the society that brought him to being. He will claim that hobbits were bigots and the people of middle-earth ganged up on him instead of the other way around. Audiences of snowflakes will be made to weep and leave the cinemas ready and primed to protest.

Orcophobics, the lot of them.

But they make do - the Hollywood mob - with homosexuals, transgendereds, male sporting stars who wear dresses, and we are supposed to be sorry for them, defend them and castigate anyone with a clearer vision. We need to resist.

So to the little old lady: then to the push-back at Presidential level as Matt shows how to turn tables.
Elderly woman, a MassResistance activist,
ignites town and region by questioning “gay” flag outside church – and standing her ground.
Town of Carlisle, MA, goes into hysteria over her letter to the editor
An inspiration for the rest of us!
Most people think they can’t make a difference, or are too timid to try. Here is an example of what just one person can do to fight back!
Sally Naumann, a long time resident of Carlisle, wasn't intimidated by the TV cameras.
An elderly woman in ultra-liberal Carlisle, Mass. had the nerve to publicly criticize the “gay” flag outside of a church in the center of town. She caused such an inflamed reaction that it was reported in Boston’s NBC-TV evening news. But she’s not backing down -- which inflames the leftist reactionaries even more!

The Unitarian church in the center of Carlisle, Mass.
Sally Naumann, an 85-year-old resident of Carlisle and a longtime MassResistance activist, had had enough. She was very upset that the Unitarian Church in the center of town is flying a “gay” rainbow flag outside. She is distressed because people she knows have died of “gay”-related diseases. She strongly believes the homosexual lifestyle should not be promoted.
Interestingly, for nearly 25 years Sally and her husband had been members of that Unitarian Church in Carlisle, and she was also co-chairman of the Parish Committee. But a few years ago, while speaking at a Sunday service, she raised concerns about the church’s promotion of the homosexual lifestyle. For simply saying that, the church leaders declared her to be “unwelcoming”. After a “hearing”, Sally was banned from the church and told that if she came back they would call the police!
Sally is a delightful lady, as well as fearless. In 2005, she went undercover at the homosexual GLSEN conference at Brookline High School. She picked up a copy of the extremely pornographic and disgusting “Little Black Book” that was being given to kids. It caused such outrage that even Gov. Mitt Romney went on television to distance his administration from it.
A simple letter to the editor started a war in town!
On April 28, 2017, Sally wrote a letter to the editor to the local Carlisle Mosquito newspaper. They published it at the end of all the others, on page 22, near the back of the paper. Here’s what it said:
 To the Editor:
One of the saddest vistas I know is that of the beautiful rainbow flying as a flag to welcome and encourage the extremely dangerous behavior of homosexuality. Each time I go through the center of my town of Carlisle, I see such a flag and my heart cries out—why, Why?
Indeed, why is this flag being used to speak well of homosexuality and encourage the behavior? Where is the caring for people who for one reason or another have gotten into this behavior? And homosexuality is a behavior; no one is born homosexual.
Where is the truth? Where is the help for such people? It seems they are only helped down the garden path to some of the worst diseases known to man. Just look at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website for information as to how devastating homosexual behavior actually is. Then look at for personal stories where ex-homosexuals speak out.
Knowing how many have contracted HIV and AIDs and even died as a result of homosexual behavior leaves me wondering why people would promote such behavior--—let alone churches such as the Unitarian Church and the United Church of Christ.
Sally J. Naumann
It’s a very good letter. It’s very clear, straightforward, and succinct.
Sally’s letter got attention, that’s for sure!
In the next issue of the Carlisle Mosquito (May 5) there were nine angry letters attacking her (and none supporting her). Even by the low standards of a “liberal” town (that prides itself on being “upper class”), the response was pretty unhinged.
There were the usual angry epithets: Sally’s letter was called “hate speech”, “disinformation”, “rancid”, and “ignorant” – etc.
Several letter writers said that despite the First Amendment, Sally’s letter should not have been allowed to be printed. (This is a common totalitarian refrain of the Left.) Letter writers said that Sally’s letter might cause suicides or violence because of “the destructive, homophobic views represented in that letter.”
One letter writer said Sally’s letter is bringing “fear” to the community and said that she is now locking the doors of her house. Some letters listed past acts of terrible violence that were likely caused by sentiments like Sally’s.

And of course there’s the blatant hypocrisy: The same letters that said that Sally’s views should be excluded from the newspaper and not be tolerated, were then calling for a climate of “tolerance and inclusion.”
Most of this is, on its face, irrational.
That’s because Sally really got to them! The town’s liberals could not deal with Sally’s facts and logic. Instead, their letters were calculated to foment as much anger and hysteria as possible.
The attacks on Sally continued in the May 12 issue, with seven more angry letters.  Sally was called “homophobic”, “hateful”,  “intolerant”, “prejudiced”,  “libelous”, and “malicious”. Her views were compared to Vladimir Putin, and Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, and Nazi Germany. Whew! We can’t wait till next week.
In the May 5 issue of the newspaper, next to the letters, was a scathing editorial aimed at Sally and her letter. In particular, the editorial explored whether Sally’s facts and opinions should be banned from the newspaper in the future.
Sadly, the editorial shows the level of nonsense and shallow thinking that America’s journalist class has lowered itself to. It stated that the newspaper’s staff
“believes it is of supreme importance to be sensitive to the concerns of marginalized populations.”
(Not conservatives, clearly.)
But Orcs definitely.
It admitted that in past years the paper had run letters similar to Sally’s without a problem. But now the community must be protected from these views. That’s because, the editors say:
[T]here are times when a position becomes so repulsive it is no longer suitable for discussion, and perhaps advocacy of homosexuality as a sickness has migrated into that territory.
You may want to re-read this courageous old lady's letter and check for 'repulsiveness'.
So the truth of the medical consequences has no real value. And the message is that anyone who agrees with Sally can forget writing any letters.
One of the letters in the paper was from a local moonbat political group saying that people should fight Sally by putting out rainbow flags everywhere in town. They announced they would be putting hundreds of small rainbow flags outside the Unitarian Church for locals to take. Within a few days, there were lots of rainbow flags across town.
Sally's out-of-town friends retailated in support. Hahaha. Leaving a copy of a book lying around.

Save the Orc. Donate to the Orc rehabilitation and Local Government advocacy position today.
Make no mistake. This is a psychological strategy to make people in town feel that everything is overwhelmingly stacked in one direction – and any more “outbursts” like Sally’s are useless, and will be dealt with harshly.
Sally didn’t care, though. She had made her point.
NBC-TV in Boston jumps in -- pays Sally an unannounced visit
 Sartorially elegant American TV reporter.
Over the next week the hysteria over this continued to spread beyond Carlisle. On May 10, NBC-TV in Boston jumped in to cover this story.
Not surprisingly, this was not a “friendly” interview from Sally’s standpoint. The television crew did not call Sally’s home first; they just showed up at her door unannounced. That has to be a pretty unnerving experience. But Sally took it all in stride, made her points very well, and stood her ground. After that, they interviewed local liberals.
There seems to be an undercurrent of support for Sally. Sally told us that when she went to the Post Office one day this week, she came out to find that someone had put some flowers in her car door handle.
On Saturday, Sally received a handwritten letter in the mail:
Thanks for the courageous letter to the Mosquito.
Having lived for 30 years in Carlisle and had two children go through the school system, I'm confident the push-back from the mentioned parties will be significant. Thankfully, we no longer live there.
We have a feeling there will be more and more, now that Sally has publicly stood up!
Good for Sally. Silencing critics by sheer brute force by editors can be countered. If this one old lady can do this much by herself, imagine what you can do! We hate to say this, but she has more courage than probably 90% of pro-family people. That’s got to change.

The LGBT movement (and the Left in general) knows it cannot win through normal discourse and factual challenges. The dominance of their absurd ideology depends on intimidating everyone into cowering in fear and not speaking up. Every time you do it, it breaks it down a little more. Eventually their dominance will collapse. That’s what Sally has done in Carlisle, and that’s why they’re so angry.

Sally told us that after this initial furor has died down, she plans to write another letter to the editor elaborating further on her points. That should be interesting. We’ll keep you posted!

If someone cares to wheel her chair into the Tavern I shall plie her with good Grace.  To get any traction against the madness one has to get the TV and press involved. It won't be pretty but it will give a chance to exposing the rat-bags, do-gooders who do-bad, the scared rabbits and perhaps send out a call to passing wizards and hobbits.

Another way to overcome the enemies of reasonableness was suggested by Matt Walsh. He can be a very funny lad sometimes, but always with a serious intent. Even if that is just Orc-exposing. But no, he has some plan and strategic options for Donald Trump in mind. Hold your glasses.
To silence his critics once and for all, Donald Trump must come out as a woman
Political pundits have written volume upon volume explaining what Trump can do to calm the storm, get the media off his back, and reestablish control. Needless to say, all of their prescriptions are wrong. Their prescriptions are always wrong. Political pundits, like psychics and weathermen, are essentially paid to be wrong. So, let’s ignore their analyses and focus on real solutions for a change.
I have devised a plan that would not only accomplish everything I outlined in the first sentence, but automatically
make Donald Trump a cultural hero and icon.
He would morph from the most hated politician in America to the most beloved. Or, at the very least, the hatred would be tempered and those who hate him would have to be very careful in how they express it, as opposed to now, when they can just come right out and accuse him of performing oral sex on Vladimir Putin.
The plan is very simple: President Trump must come out as a woman. A cisgendered Trump will continue to be reviled by the Left and despised by the media — even if he stops inflicting wounds on himself — but a transgendered Trump would be playing in an entirely different field by an entirely different set of rules.
Truly, the only solution I can see is for Donald Trump
to transition into Donna Trump.
She will not get this kind of advice from her advisers in the White House or her surrogates on television. The responsibility has been left to me, and, as a patriot, I feel compelled to fulfill it.
Let me outline the four great advantages to my plan:
  (1) Trump would rise to the top of liberalism’s Victim Pyramid.
Victimization is the currency of the Left. To be a victim is to have power. The more victimized you are, the more insulated you are from criticism.
But there is a hierarchy of victimization on the Left. At the moment, Trump is at the bottom — that is, the least victimized, thus the most subject to criticism — because he identifies as a cisgendered, heterosexual, white, Republican, Christian male.
The fact that he’s also the President isn’t necessarily relevant. Obama was the president, yet he was permitted to play the victim. Hillary Clinton is one of the most influential failed politicians in America, yet she trades in victimization like it’s her job (because it is). Actual power and influence aren’t that important to the leftist victim equation. Identity is all that matters.
Now, the positions in the hierarchy tend to change over time as the various groups struggle to be the most victimized, but cisgendered, heterosexual, white, Republican, Christian males are always at the bottom, and anyone who can squeeze themselves into the LGBT acronym always stands perched at the top.
Cisgendered women, black people, Hispanics, Muslims, etc., are in between, sometimes flipping positions depending on the news cycle. But the LGBT camp, as those entrusted with carrying forth the banner of sexual liberation, will remain forever at the pinnacle. And, arguably, at the pinnacle of the pinnacle sits the genderfluid, transgendered, genderqueer, gender-questioning, and genderless.
If Donald Trump were to join this hallowed group, it would change the political landscape in an instant.
(2) Trump would be the first female president.
As we learned from Bruce Jenner’s “Woman of the Year” award, sometimes men make the best women. Who better, then, to shatter the glass ceiling than a man? I mean, a woman.
The Left may still oppose Donna Trump for her policies and her political positions, but they’d have to admit that her presidency was worth it, in the end, because of how it inspired our daughters to believe in themselves and reach for the stars. What a story it would be: a female CEO finally breaks into the presidential boy’s club and proves once and for all that women can do whatever they set their minds to. As long as they’re men.
(3) Trump’s propensity to be a loudmouth would suddenly be viewed as admirable.
A man can’t get away with saying what he says and tweeting what he tweets, but if he were a woman, his ranting would immediately become an inspiring expression of feminine strength and confidence.
If anyone criticized him for it, he could simply respond, “Oh, you’re intimidated when a woman asserts herself? Tough luck, misogynist.”
(4) The Left would collapse in on itself like a dying star.
The phrase “it would make their heads explode” is painfully cliched and overused, but, in this case, I think it may be literally true. Identity Politics and the Victim Hierarchy are the two great weapons of the Left. Imagine what would happen if their ultimate Super Villain seized it and used it against them. Like Kryptonite, identity politics is what gives them power, but it can also destroy them (I’m not really versed in Superman mythology so this analogy may be flawed, but you get the point).
Now, I know the critical reader may, though rightly stunned by the brilliance of this strategy, still offer a few objections. Allow me to respond to them ahead of time:
(1) Objection: But Donald Trump is not a woman.
Answer: False.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
If Donald Trump says she’s a woman, she’s a woman.
The Left has made this plain. They would be committing an actual hate crime if they even so much as hinted at the idea that Donald Trump can’t be a woman, or is not quite a woman, or is any less a woman than women who were born women.
They have set the rules here and made those rules exceedingly clear.
If a man says he’s a woman, then he’s a woman. Period. End of discussion. This is science, folks. Just ask Bill Nye.
(2) Objection: But what about Trump’s family?
By this point the entire Tavern was convulsed and all trying to chip in. So I shall leave you to go and see what else the fabulous lad had in store.

Fight with humour.

Fight with ridicule.

Fight using their rules.

Fight like an old lady

And have a few bevvies first.

  1. Yep, she's one of the good ones.

    1. Old lady with not a lot left to give, but Matt on the other hand is a vital, energetic and intelligent Warrior with many battles ahead.

  2. We hate to say this, but she has more courage than probably 90% of pro-family people.

That's exactly what it comes down to. If pro-family folk and genuine Christians had fought this nonsense every step of the way it would never have come to this.

I wonder how many members of this "church" actually believe this pro-homosexual propaganda and how many are just too scared (or too gutless) to say anything. Of course if they'd objected to this stupidity when it first started to gain a foothold in their church they wouldn't have to be scared now.

You stamp out a fire when you see the first trace of smoke. You don't wait until your whole house is engulfed in flames. But this is what "conservative" Christians have done.

    1. Bolting horses and stable doors come to mind. I might have said that the 'church' itself is faux, a group who could not stay with the rules as given but had to fiddle with them to suit. But I look at my beloved Catholic Church and see much the same.

Fire fighting is a good analogy. Here is Tasmania whenever a bush fire breaks out a stranger might be forgiven for thinking it had never happened before.

Our Bouncer is a gentleman of muscle and guile. His patience has limits. He will check you at the door.

The Tavern gets rowdy visitors from time to time. Some are brain dead and some soul dead. They attack customers and the bar staff and piss on the carpets. Those people will not be allowed in anymore. So... Be Nice..
