It's also proof that society promotes based on politics, these days, rather than qualifications for a job. (I've seen that happen both ways, here in the South.)

In fact, I haven't decided, but I may write a post on this subject and link to this post, would that be all right? If not, that's okay, it's just when I'm inspired by someone else's post, I feel they should be credited ;)Chrysalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09972571880025416943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-10622891687458057482015-10-06T00:25:00.719+11:002015-10-06T00:25:00.719+11:00That too, m'dear. The small illustration showing Tim and Bruce was as an indication of how 'something' has taken a fine religious sense - Christianity - which was held and admired by the majority and for the majority, and replaced it with a narcissistic and quite deviant (from the norm) minority sexual non-religious sense. I can't say I see much difference between a football player and a TV nonebrity, m'self but it is clear just why Tim has fallen out of favour.Amfortashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07474382097575605017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-17555396543542484212015-10-06T00:21:17.096+11:002015-10-06T00:21:17.096+11:00PS - I mentioned Democrat or Republican because th...PS - I mentioned Democrat or Republican because these are American celebrities mentioned ;)Chrysalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09972571880025416943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-10677747851559209892015-10-06T00:13:56.571+11:002015-10-06T00:13:56.571+11:00I'm so glad someone else noticed how much poor...I'm so glad someone else noticed how much poor Tim Tebow has gotten shafted, he's such a talented quarterback, and though he has really done very well in his trials, he is always cut from the teams preseason inexplicably every time - the only reason that could possibly be is his faith because even those teams have said they like him as a person and don't ever really give a plausible explanation for cutting him.

What is so ironic about it is that Tim is such a positive person, an encourager and a leader, he is NOT a condemning, judgy-judgy Pharisee type kind of Christian, and though he credits God for his successes, he doesn't "get political" unless he's asked. It's like he's become the whipping post for the types of Christians who are condemning and judgmental, it really is unfair.

For all the liberal talk of seeing people as individuals first, people definitely cannot "see" Tim Tebow as an individual first, can they?

Considering all the trouble in NFL this past year, you would think they'd want someone like Tim to improve their image, but I guess they prefer crooks, druggies and repeat violent-crime offenders as the "new face of the NFL?"

As for Caitlyn Jenner, same rule applies - I can see Caitlin as individual separate from all transsexuals and I don't have to like her just because she's a transsexual, and I don't think that's likely to change just because she's in my face every two seconds.

Because I don't think she's particularly "brave", as there are many poor, nonfamous transsexuals who aren't treated nearly as well by society as Caitlyn, who can't afford as much security or positive PR.

And if anyone saw his/her "transition" episode, he/she said, "It's time for me to do something nice for others instead of just me."

Oh really, Caitlin? You are 65 years old and you just now thought about doing something for others instead of yourself? And legitimate transsexuality or not, you think that publicly upturning a family and feeding more drama to their reality-show self-obsession is in any way unselfish?

Having said that, and many may disagree with me on this part - I don't think his/her behavior is the result of "liberal immorality" because he still identifies as a Republican?

I think his/her confusion is the result of constant fame, attention, power and money, having been infected with the Kardashian disease - and the last time I checked, the sins of greed and selfishness weren't exclusive to the left or right and God was not a Republican nor a Democrat :)

(PS - Forgive me, Lord, for judging Caitlyn on the sin of greed and selfishness, since we all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but it really bothers me your son preached so much on greed but it is the sin most ignored. I'll work on that?:) Chrysalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09972571880025416943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-37961988298140605982015-10-05T12:17:21.239+11:002015-10-05T12:17:21.239+11:00You have it, m'dear. :)You have it, m'dear. :) Amfortashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07474382097575605017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-82196141689344243972015-10-05T10:40:30.599+11:002015-10-05T10:40:30.599+11:00There is always an end and a new beginning until w...There is always an end and a new beginning until we find the key to 'our Crypt'. Recall history, even quite recent: the French Revolution: the two World Wars. Total horror and far more widespread and physically devastating in material and bodily forms. Each was an assault on the spirit as well as the material world. We weathered those storms.

This current phase has come along 'seductively'. It has taken individuals into the depths of personal, widespread depravity rather than having it 'visited' upon them. It has attacked the 'very best' that our civilisation brought forth.... freedom, truth, even science, law, education, health.

It certainly is 'Personal' and the response to it has to be too.

Yes, we have the tools both spiritual and mental. We must use them. Read my last line and think on it. There are so many Christians, fine people, good people, who will fail the test because they reject the Sacraments. Many take a simulacrum which is not 'authentic' It does not have the Holy infused. My poor ale and wine is just ale and wine, despite being from my Supplier. But it does draw attention. It requires 'energising' in the Crypt wherin the Holy Grail sits. (We each have a key to our own Crypt). Go to Mass: take Holy Communion; go to Confession. Hope that Extreme Unction is at hand at your end. For we will all have an end.Amfortashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07474382097575605017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-776872662073607566.post-15308176806620844522015-10-03T22:01:56.674+10:002015-10-03T22:01:56.674+10:00You sum up very well, my friend. As never before in history, I believe, evil is out, loud, proud and utterly living up to its title of the Prince of this World. We must be prepared to be crucified and offer our sufferings for the salvation of sinners.
